Intro

In 2023, Xprien, a customer engagement platform, aimed to enhance brand relationships by providing data collection, automation, and loyalty services under one product umbrella. However, Xprien needed to find its unique niche in the competitive and rapidly evolving market in order to attract new users and distinct itself.

Process

We were able to identify the needs of the industry in which Xprien was operating in, which included demand for more distinctive, customized products and better relevant customer data, and we then combined those needs with Xprien's specialization to collect data through gamification and perform loyalty tasks, creating a new brand idea: experience through joyful interactions.

Challenge

The shift presented new strategic challenge as the term gamification was somewhat limiting in terms of the category the organization tried to live in, therefore Xprien needed to signal a broader message to a broader sector.
 So we redefined its existence; as a business that aspires to bring joy to interactions customers have with their brands to create positive journeys, under the concept of “Making interaction a journey”, and therfore become a provider of joyful journeys.

Visual Story

We changed the letter "X" into a pair of arrows that connect at their vertices and form a path; this became the foundation for our entire visual language which positions journeys in the front sit throughout the whole deliverables.
